The associate manager at my store swears that associates with a year or more will be getting 3 weeks of vacation time. Does this have any merit or is he mistaken?
I'm not sure that is correct, 1 year = 3weeks? In my KMA 1 year= 1 week, 3 years = 2 weeks. Your Co-Manager might be talking about that he might be getting ....
I find it hard to believe any contract would be that generous... especially one where Kroger is one of the parties involved. Southwest Division Local 1000 requires ten years of service before obtaining three weeks vacation time. Ten years. The only upside is at that point, you can break up your vacation and take a day here and there rather than as a week.

this. I believe they just changed our contract where the max number of vacations is 5 (instead of 6), so giving someone 3 weeks for 1 year of service seems like a stretch. They need to do something to keep up with wal mart though, so you never know!
