They just started building for click list in my store..how long did it take in your store for it to get built?

Took about uh... 2 days. To build it. To start it, probably a month? It was a long time ago.

We were one of the first though. Sorry.

It's a quick process. We're starting our remodel, but clicklist has been delayed a month due to local permit deadlines being missed. They claim 12 days as the start to finish on it and won't hurt much.

We've had it for about a year maybe.  One thing they had to do is build a freezer and a cooler to store items that had to be kept cold until the customer picked up their order.  They also had to build a door for taking customers' orders out to their cars.  They had to make a pick up area for people to drive up to.  They put code numbers on the floor in every aisle so the employees picking the orders would know where to find things. 

Frankly, the job looks like it's a piece of cake to me.  I know they have to do so many orders in a certain length of time, but none of them seem to be in any sort of hurry.  They just casually push their cart along like they don't have a care in the world.

It probably is a piece of cake. But, I have a friend in Clicklist in our store. And sometimes, I see her run around the store trying to get items for her order like it's the end of the world. Like, literally, running. She tells me they're mostly understaffed. I sometimes see the store and front end managers doing the job cause they don't have anybody else.

And I bet none of them are hitting their picking productivity goal of 40 seconds or less per item. That's partly their fault and partly the fault of the e-Commerce Supervisor and Leads. Slow selectors cause the department to fall behind and that puts additional work/stress on the selectors that are meeting/exceeding goals. With same day orders, you never know how the day is going to go, so you need to get ahead and stay ahead - and with selectors that stroll around like they have all the time in the world, this can cause big problems.
