Why do people keep posting questions like this? Ever job is different and pay is different also......Frozen is just stocking shelves/ordering. Meat cutter...cut the meat! Eventually they are going to say " Wheres the meat"...

I really think these are troll posts, since they appear so often.

No, I don't think they are troll posts.  There are over 2,000 Kroger-owned stores in the US, and several hundred thousand Kroger employees ..............so there are  "new" employees finding out about this forum every day. Many of them were just recently hired, and know little or nothing about the various departments...........and they may not know anything about how to search this forum for previous discussions on the pros and cons of the different departments.  So, yes,  it does sound like the same people posting over and over again, but I don't think it is.

But, honestly, like a said in a post a few days ago...........there are NO EASY answers to these questions. All departments can be good OR bad, depending on lots of variables..........your personality; what you enjoy doing................what store it is..............who the manager of the store is............how well staffed a department is...........how well you will get along with your co-workers.............how large the store is.................how much room you have to work in, and how the work area is "laid out" for optimum efficiency (this especially applies to meat, deli, produce)................ what area or neighborhood your store is located in.............. etc etc
