So what's the correct way to clock in a break?
Yea, you always clout OUT for your break and then clock back IN for your break. And you always have to use which ever finger that is needed to be scanned.
Out by me its only the first option on the clock for our breaks and our shifts. We are told not to use any of the other functions. Not even managers do.
I wonder if this is division and/or state specific. In my division the official policy is that you clock in at the state of your shift with clock in. clock out for lunch using clock out clock in for lunch using clock in and then clock out of the shift using clock out. Although the meal and break buttons are on the time clock our managers, hr, and the most recent written policy Ive seen says that you only use clock in/clock out shift function.
The time clock has In/Out for Shift, Break, Lunch....its the company policy to clock whatever your taking break/lunch. If anyone else has noticed Asset Protection/LP is kinda running around looking at everything.....this I'm sure is something that is going to be addressed/action taken on.
