I work in the Cinci division. Just curious if its just my store or if all stores are cutting hours as badly as mine. We have some long time people not getting hours at all. And is it happening in the other divisions too?

That way spammers won't know if anybody is reading their drivel.

Legit question. No one seems to have the same answer for me and it's not really something I wanna ask management anbout, if ya know what I mean. I don't personally see the issue of keeping a few of your own items in the coolers, like maybe you bought some milk of cot. cheese on break before leaving work n u ju...

Yeah, how do you fix the epson catalina printers when they're just printing out blank pieces of paper? I mean, I've changed the ink cartridge to a new one. I've pressed that button to make it cycle/clean the print heads with ink multiple times. Still blank coupons.

My store manager got transferred out right around the time I quit. He didn't exactly leave under good circumstances, and got sent to the "food stamp store" that they send new co-managers to prove themselves and old managers they want to get rid of. This guy was an ******* to work for. At one time he was th...

The other day a lady purchased an onion 4093. I scanned the sticker. The screen displayed Yellow Sweet Onion. She bitched about how she didn't purchase it. I void it off. Scan it again. She bitches the same again. She complained about how it was miss marked. I told her it wasn't. She still didn't believe...

Just got hired last week and have had a couple web-inars with Cinci; they say with my Bachelor's degree I should be a cinch for the mgmt training program in no time. I'm looking eagerly forward to this, as I've never worked in retail before, have no intention of actually 'working' in it, and am very happy...

Main complaints are about work/life balance (most folks say there is none), tired of working long hours/nights/weekends/holidays. One person wrote that his wife told him "it's our marriage or Kroger" and he "wisely chose" his marriage. It's an eye=opener for sure!

so get this: this new gal sucks even worse than the one we had before, I wouldn't have believed that possible. She micro-manages every last little detail, is constantly doing her store walks with dept. leads, uses the "white glove" approach to everything she sees. Nothing is quite good enough to plea...

I was hired on as a bagger and today was my first day. I was told we would only be working the lot 15 minutes an hour, which was fine by me. But today i got sent out there for 3 and a half hours. There was no strap for me to use, so i could only pull in 5 carts at a time. Now, several years ago I had injured myself and...

I'll keep this short and sweet. About three years ago I worked for Kroger for about 4 months. My mother got sick, so I put in a two weeks but I could not fulfill those two weeks. I did not show up during that second week because I was stressed and impulsive and made a mistake. But my priorities were different...

So last Friday I came in, checked my schedule, wrote it all down like normal, and everything was fine. The beginning of the week, I'm working, and everything is fine. I did notice that the cashier's schedule isn't on the wall anymore since someone took it down and never put it back up, which happens a lot...

I ask this because I was on a break with a friend and he told me about his situation: He works in the deli, yet he is constantly asked to do things that do pertain to the deli. "They constantly call me back to receiving to do bales, up front to bag, and cashier, they even asked me once if I would help stock an ais...

I used to work for Kroger and need them as a reference for a new job I'm being considered for now. Problem is, I left on a bad note with Kroger, and I'm a bit unsure howto go about approaching this. Was hoping someone on here could steer me in the right direction. It might be helpful if I give a little back stor...
