Seriously, do yourself a favor and find a better job not working with the public. If you're an employee of any store including Kroger, customers will view and treat you like public property and think they can do whatever they want, including go up to you and randomly touch you while you're working. An o...

I really hope you guys can get out of retail. If it's your thing, you're ok with staying hourly and have no advancement plans; or if you're management and it's working good for you, why change a good thing? But c'mon-------most of us in this field don't r e a l l l l y want to be here. All I'm saying is, it can...

Although only two of his songs are played (I have heard) on the Kroger feed, they are played relentlessly, usually at least once every day. MAN IN THE MIRROR (which used to be one of the songs the In Store Audio Network was commanded to play to remind employees to get out on the floor and condition or inte...

How do you guys feel about getting called in? Do you always see it as $$$, or does it get annoying? In my case, I don't mind helping out on occasion, but there are times when it just makes me irrationally angry, as if they think I have nothing better to do than sit by the phone and wait for it to ring; especiall...

...you walk in the store and you see a sign that says, "Now hiring assistant store managers." The starting pay is between $42,000 and "$52,000 based on level of experience. Of course they don't mention the 12 to 16 hour days. I know of one who worked 24 hours straight but she's one of those real go-get...

A redneck family from the hills was visiting the city and they were in a mall for the first time in their lives. The father and son were strolling around while the wife shopped. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide b...

Hello, my name is Clancy. I'm new to Kroger, and I'm in my late 50s with an embarassing problem. If I don't pee at certain times I become incontinent---that is, I pee on myself. Do you think management will allow me to go on my self-prescribed pee schedule of 10 past the hour, every hour? Thanks!
