Had a lady ask me if she could donate her $50 kroger gift card to the store so that it can be given to anybody who needs it. Then later another guy asked me if he could take one of those prepaid gift cards, but here's the strange thing... he wanted to just take it without actually loading and activating it.

I wonder what kind of imbecilic loser feels the need to constantly watch over a site he doesn't even own; on an endless vigil to make sure nobody is saying things he doesn't approve of, like some ancient d i k e librarian. Of course, I'm a man, so I'll never know...........................

So today, I had a lady **** up the lottery machine in the lobby and they flagged me down for help. They needed their money out of the machine. I told them, I'm not authorized to fix it, but I'll get a manager who can. Of course, I go look and the one manager who can is busy helping other customers at the service...

Today I was listening to the song "better" by megan trainor and I couldn't help thinking that the song resonated so much with my job at kroger. As it stands right now I work at the deli department at my job and it's no secret that we really don't make that much compared to what they make at the front end. All t...

So yesterday, as I was cleaning a few things around the Uscan, one of the minor cashiers came up to me. She asks me, and I quote, "why are you cleaning that? it's just going to get dirty again anyway." So that explains why this place is always filthy and trashed. I mean, I know I'm not that much older than th...

You guys have one at your store? Do you guys help customers with any issues they have with it or do you have to tell them to call the 1-800 number on the machine?

So I heard at the end of February the minimum wage is going up to 10 bucks an hour. Here anyway. Any one else heard about increases where youre at?

courtesy clerk at Ralphs here in SoCal, but this is for everyone working in Kroger. If you are a courtesy clerk, hours have gone down so bad it's not even enough to retain health insurance now. I remember getting 30 hours a week minimum now it's down to 20. Do they hate me or something? Or is this some mass h...

I am part time and was thinking about transferring from grocery to frozen. Is there a sheet you have to fill out or ask a manager? Can my current department head prevent me from being moved?

Today I pulled the bills for the bakery frozen order and and there were 23 scratches. It was all stuff we needed too like bread dough and cakes. I asked the deli manager what was going on and she said it's because they were short on drivers and they couldn't make full deliveries. So instead of loading...

Who to speak to, when to call, like how far in advance, what to tell the person. Also can you work a 4 hour shift in one store, then in the same day work a 6 hour shift in another store?
