Heads up Union Brothers and Sisters. I know some of you are preparing to get into contract negotiations, but you have to remember one thing, Kroger does not care about a single one of us. I work in the Columbus Division, in District B we just had a long stressful battle with Kroger over our contract negot...

Hi, I'm in Il. and the weather is really cold and snowy right now. Last week I took a wound to my left foot (not Kroger related) and its since gotten infected where I can barely walk. I'm a bagger tho and management keeps sending me outside to get carts and I can barely walk and it's just getting worse. Told t...

Don't get me wrong now. If I see a pretty girl wearing shorts at this time of the year, I'm not going to mind at all. But I just have to wonder, what in the hell is going through her mind to feel it's okay to wear shorts when it's so cold outside? The other day I saw a guy wearing flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt! S...

There was snow blowing in that lasted a day this week. Everyone in town came to my store thinking it was nuclear fallout. I hope nobody else had to go through this.

On a recent topic/thread ("Both deli and meat department are 100 hours short") someone wrote the "Waste Integration" program has only lasted 6 months...........like it is already done and gone. What is it? Is it still in effect? Please explain.

Our store just got a whole truck load of new employees this month. I've never quite seen this many new hires before. Is your store getting lots of new employees too? Doesn't Kroger not like hiring more help?

So I was asked to help in a certain department today after a regular employee in that department quit literally yesterday. It's not my normal department, but I have helped out before. I was originally off, but since I was asked and I told the dept head to call me if they needed help, I said okay. Originall...

Are vacation days/personal days 4 hrs for part time or based on average hours worked in past weeks?

Well, not really. Any of it. I really just do odd jobs at my store as my co managers see fit (they all wanted to fire me years ago, said I was getting too old and slow to be of any more sex-shul interest, but I read up on how to do the BEST blow jobs you've ever seen, I guarantee you'll come your brains out)----li...

Just curious if anyone has a florist that helps out when they are done with their duties in floral on a normal week day? Also, how many hours does your floral department get?

All the sudden they have cracked down on file in Dalla. They want everything they same throughout every store. It is stupid waste of time when there are other things to worry about.
