You know the 7 minute grace period, right? Let's say you clock out for your break and then come back, just one minute past the 7 minute grace period. Does that count as an automatic write up, much the same way being late to start your shift would be?

Our store is being completely reset starting in the next couple weeks. Anyone had theirs done already and did it make items more difficult or easier to find?

Just curious...........can we get some feedback from Kroger stores from across the country, including the various divisions. When does your produce supervisor/dept head / lead USUALLY clock in and start their shift? Has this time (these times) been fairly typical over the past few years (if you...

So, I was informed that a Food Service Manager (FSM) is trying to get me fired. The thing is I'm not really sure whether to trust the person who told me this. After all that same person, told me that the store had gotten low scores on all their inspections, then told the Lead that I said they weren't doing th...

So, a little over a month ago a manager walks around and tells us about Kroger's new policy in which we have to wear some non-slip rubber cover over our shoes. We told the manager that we already had non-slip shoes - we bought them when we started because we did what we were told to do - that we needed to wea...

Some of you may remember a few posts back about a lazy as all get-out bagger who gets away with everything. There's also a bagger who doesn't bathe. These two have been at the store for years and haven't changed their habits despite management talking to them. But that's all it's been. However, when I'm...

We have a co-manager at our store that has had 8 verifiable complaints filed against her with the union. Our manager has been busy dealing with her to the detriment of the other things he needs to do. She also came this close to having an ADA (disability harassment) case filed against her but it was only...

They turned off the 4011 PLU for bananas. I can't believe they did that. All in an effort to force everyone to scan produce stickers. That has been a lot of fun at the Uscan. Customers going to press the banana button, oops, set aside item and continue. Oh, no mam, ya gotta scan the sticker. What? Why, tha...

The pizza from my store's deli is a million times better than this papa johns pizza I'm eating right now. This papa johns pizza that I'm eating right now, that I got for $14, tastes only slightly better than the $4 frozen pizza I've bought in the past. Yet, for $10, I could get a fresh baked pizza from my sto...

Kroger says they'll stop using plastic bags by 2025 but I honestly cannot see how they will do that. Im a cashier on the front end and barely anyone remembers their reusable bags anyway. Not only that, but we are almost always out of paper. All the time and people are pissed. I dont know how they will manag...

Hello So 1 day of the week I'm only available for a 4 hour shift. It's been that way for a month with no known issue to me until yesterday. When my 4 hours were up I asked who was taking the register off my hands. "You're still scheduled for 3 1/2 more hours" The schedule they went through was the break roste...

Hey, I gotta question for Produce......... You know the "red bag markdowns" in produce........ (usually) 99 cents a bag, no matter what is in the bag. At your store, how important is it (considered to be) to make sure you check the correct "country of origin" on the bar code label (or check the "OTHER"...
