I have been working for Kroger for about 2 years. I was just recently "trained" for bakery. I got one day for observation and after that was expected to know what to do. The next 2 training days I was the one being observed. I bake 2 nights a week. I'm still not sure what I'm doing. I get told every time I bake t...

Woman came in and asked the MOD if she "could leave some information"-turns out she went into our breakroom and dumped a bunch of JW garbage in there. I recognized her as she tried to lure me in (said it was a New Year's party at a hotel I looked it up it was a JW recruitment event.) When I told her she couldn't...

I'm in the Mid-Atlantic division, have heard rumors of an upcoming change in our bookkeeping department where we come in, balance tills, and everything else gets taken care of by the district accountants so the bookkeeper would just work office or whatever the rest of the day. Supposedly they're tr...

Our store hasn't had new blue rhino gas tanks to give out for over a month now. Is that normal?

Does it really matter? I had a customer wanting one for his beer. I didn't have any at my drawer and I told him just keep the receipt, it doesn't matter. He practically threw a fit, demanding that he get one. He went to all the other cashiers, one by one, until he got one.

A month ago he was accused of pleasuring himself in the Kroger restroom by two junior employees, and suspended til further notice. The union leader filed...

Theyve made several listings for ASMs in my division. I think I might try to take the next step. Ive been with Kroger for 5 years and have worked several departments and Lead roles. Another factor Is that Ive heard Kroger has had bad retention rates for managers and have significantly upped the startin...

is there a way to scan an item only once and define multiple products. Example. 4 cans of olives. Do I always have to scan every item or can I scan one and define that I am putting 4 in my cart.

There was some poop on the floor in between the aisles and the checkout lanes. I'm not kidding you! When I first saw it, I thought it was some kind of chocolate that had been smeared, then I got closer, and the smell... well yeah, not chocolate... Then I thought, it must be somebody's dog that did this and t...

If someone gets a bad comment on the survey, does your store management read the comment out loud or do they keep it private for the individual it is about? Yesterday someone in my store got a not very flattering comment. They weren't mentioned by name but it was obvious who they were talking about becau...

I was within earshot of a couple of customers at my Uscan as they were wondering what that strange screen mounted from the ceiling was displaying. They came to the conclusion that it must be displaying today's winning lottery numbers.

My store houses some really ugly woman. This job is already terrible and sh!t but seeing a pretty woman smiling or chatting with would make is less painful to work here. We had one who was damn good looking but I think she got smart and gtfo. Shame.
