Friday I went to HR at the district level and the union for violating our contract. Our co manager got mad and started to get angry over the phone when he asked why I did it. My question is they know they are wrong so why get mad at someone doing something about it. So many violations get over looked because n...

What is the policy at your store? How often are comments printed? Who all at your store actually reads them? Are they discussed at huddles? How often are huddles held? Do your managers print and make the comments available to anyone to read? Do you have any idea if they have the ability to 'censor' some...

Recently the sick pay policy changed. I believe we get sick pay on day one now right? It use to be on day three with a doctors note or immediate hospitalization. I'm tired of having a full bank of sick pay I can't use nor will ever use.

I was hired and trained for grocery well over a year or so ago. When I was hired and I would just be working grocery, gave my job description and training, etc. Just a few weeks ago they have began scheduling all of us for various departments anywhere from 1-3 nights a week. Do they do that at your store and w...

He has been warned several times by other corworkers this is a union violation. He's been intervened several times and stopped and pushed away. Coworkers are...

Anyone else having their store remodeled? We no longer have a hot bar, salad bar or soup bar. Customer complaints are high on this change.

Been hearing another trash song being played at least every 4 to 6 hours at Kroger. It's been on the playlist maybe 6-8 months, maybe a year. Totally unintelligible lyrics, but about all I can say is the main verse or chorus (phrase) consists of about 12 - 14 notes, each word/syllable completely inde...

They're upset that we don't EVER have any working electric carts? They keep complaining to us but we can't do anything. Maybe if I tell them to call corporate, maybe something might happen? Feel kinda bad when I have to tell an elder lady who really needs one of those carts that they're all dead or being u...

There is no reason to call 3 employees because one is sick. 2 of the employees is literally doing nothing but walking back and forth and chatting. They are just in the way.

Kroger Union is trash. Negotiating a measly .25 cent raise ain't nothing, nor is 1 dollar good for leads. Leads should be getting paid atleast 3 to 5 dollars more due to the stress, department upkeep we have to do. At my store, leads don't last more than a year and a half. Frozen, even less. Nutritio...

A fellow employee I work with is a cashier. However, they applied for bigger and still want to transfer. What would some of the lines be that management hands out to basically say they don't want to approve of the transfer?
