This is one of the most frustrating things about working for Kroger. Management acts like they have all the authority in the world to ask you to do whatever work they want you to do, even if it's outside your job description to do that work, and then behave as though you've robbed the store blind when you d...

I know just getting some grapes and strawberries isn't going to make it worth the price per pound as you can get a whole bag of grapes, perhaps two for the price. So what I've seen people do, is they fill it up with lots of meats and eggs and cheese. Though, I still doubt that is enough to make it worth the pric...

Who has Scan, Bag, Go at their store? My store is getting it during our remodel which is supposedly going to be soon.

I find this to be odd. When I go to the Personal Profile page on ExpressHR, under Salary/Wage Rate Information, there used to be a line that read: "Next Wage Rate Increase" and it would give me a date when my next raise was due to kick in. Now, the "Next Pay Rate" line is still there, and next to it, it tells me...

Would it be bad if I filed a grevience and contact my District HR manager for a promotion I was denied. I was denied the ACSM promotion with 10 years of seniorty and I have knowledge of all functions of the job and other jobs within the store. The person they gave it to has less than two year seniorty and har...

I have an interview coming up for an overnight stock position. I listed my availability as any day/any time until 8am. I have to work my second job at 9am. Will I I be able to get off by 8am every morning if I made sure to list that as the latest I can stay? I have heard bad things about Kroger disrespecting the...

I have been on this site for well over 2 years. A lot of 'passer byers' cone here to complain about how crappy Kroger is. If you remove all of their bitching sometimes you realize that they are relatively new employees who have not received adequate training, right? For example - we just recently had...

Two deaf people come to use my Uscan. They both use two different Uscans to check out at the same time. They know each other, they walked in together. One of them is trying to buy some hot chicken from the deli with their EBT card. When the Uscan keeps rejecting their card at the pinpad, I try to tell them tha...

Michigan division here. Does anybody know how much power leads and heads have to discipline associates? I know ACSMs can give SIRs, but what about other leads? Can they send people home?

I have a question. Is tardiness (being from 10 minutes, 15 minutes, up to an hour late on a regular basis) *REALLY* considered to be a serious issue at most Kroger stores? It seems to me that it all depends on whether an employee is liked by the management or not. I have heard there are several "steps"...
