People need to stop complaining about each other. They need to stop finding faults in others. They need to accept their part in the problem and resolve it. Blaming others gets you nowhere. It doesn't solve the problem. Confront me face-to-face. Tell me what I'm doing wrong and I will change it. When y...

Was talking to someone the other night and said in the 5 years I have been with Kroger that we only once had to hustle people/customers to the back of the store due to an impending tornado/severe weather alert. Most of us ended up in the back warehouse. Someone said that was NOT the safest place that we sho...

You know those idiots who think you're watching them to see if they're stealing? Well I had one the other day taunt me in the lobby area when I was putting some carts back. Every time I'd come out to put some baskets or carts back, he'd be there, running his mouth at me. Throwing insults.

Yesterday we got our order plus part of another store's. I didn't realize until after I had loaded several pieces on to trucks that some of the stuff wasn't ours. So I had to get the bills and check off each item one by one and re-stack the stuff that wasn't ours on to a pallet so it could be picked up. It's...

Hello, I was recently hired in the Columbus, OH division. I need to know: 1.) How much are union dues? 2.) Why do I have to wait 90 days to get my union contract? 3.) Union dues haven't been taken out of my paychecks. I've had 2 paychecks so far. Is that normal? 4.) Do union dues get taken out 90 days after empl...

I worked 40 hours the last 2 weeks, but only got paid for 32. Last week I got paid for holiday pay and 32 hours. I worked 40 hours, not 32. I had to write my schedule in because I had just transferred and they probably made the mistake there, but 2 weeks in a row is too much. I brought it up to them and all they coul...

When already carrying a title and other person hasn't gone through the training yet, taken the classes, or worked for Kroger as long as you, doesn't that mean the position is yours? Doesn't seniority play a role in this? People really play me as a fool.

Guys, I just got fired from a job for the first time ever. Okay, I take that back. This is my second time from ever being fired and I really don't consider the first one as being much since I was only making $7.25 an hour, and I know the people who got me fired. Two women from high school who are obviously st...

Our District Mgr. at Ralphs came in today and instructed all male, non union mgrs. to longer make small friendly banter with any female. They are to say good morning and only talk about business. No member of mgmt. is to have any meeting with any female without another witness being there, preferably...

How many women work in your store's meat department? I'm just curious. I'm the only woman in our meat department. Of course, it doesn't matter what gender is working in which department, but it always seems to be men in meat. Again, just curious.

Did they say anything back?

What would be the ground for a manager being fired? It seems our store is a dumping ground lately for managers that didn't work out at other stores.

In our grocery department the overnight dp and lead positions are open, but they're never posted. Does anyone know why this is? You'd think that they'd give somebody the opportunity to apply for one of them. It's not even listed on the kroger job website.
