He says he's never used Uscan before. So I say okay, let's get started. I start scanning the first item for him. He has a couple produce items, I look them up in the catalog, going as slow as possible so he can see which buttons I'm pressing. Customer besides me has a help screen. I clear it quickly. He start...

Hopefully with our new mgt, there will be things acted upon. Past 4 years the survey and it's results have been ignored in our store.

Does a new contract only need 51% to say Yes or is there a certain minimum percentage needed for it to be ratified.

We recently had a contract change and we got pay raises. Well I didn't since I was already capped out for part time. I found out that if I became full time, I could advance further in pay raises. So I talked to my union rep in person when he came to my store and made it very clear I understood what I needed to do....

I just wondered........... before our store remodel, the employee breakroom was on the ground floor, and the door was almost always kept shut, and it seemed better that way, so the employees have a bit more privacy, could relax a little more, eat their lunch in relative peace, without everyone and an...

This man and woman come up to me with their receipts claiming that the machine didn't give them their money. The man shows me his receipt that says the change is $50, but he says it only gave him a $20 (which he shows me in his hand), so it owes him $30. The woman shows me her receipt that says the change is $160...

Does anyone on here work in the Louiville Division and like the new contract corporate and the Union are encouraging us to take.

Mr Frontenac

So you ever have those former front end managers (CSMs, ACSMs, or whatever), who once were assigned to your store, move up to some position in district or corporate and you don't see them for a few months. Then they come by to visit your store for something, and they basically act like they've never seen...

when I go to greatpeople.me, I can get in and see lots of links, however, I can not find the one for my eschedule. I noticed that in the banner, it says that greatpeople.me is "no longer" the place to find my eschedule and I should click on the FEED link. When I do that, I get a message saying that "the site h...

Police think the shooter followed two people to the Kroger and shot them, cops don't think this was a random act.

Not sure if these are being placed in all the stores, but ya know these big "poster-like" signs that are being placed all over the store, 'glued' in place, as additional advertising / promotion for various products on the nearby shelves? ANYONE else besides me HATE those things? I keep thinking I am...

Mr Frontenac

You used to know, not friends but just someone you used to know from somewhere, comes up to you after months have passed and asks you to give them a couple dollars to help them buy their groceries?
