I am not alone at Kroger 540 in this situation that the Payroll HR lady keeps messing up the hours when she seems to keep keying in the hours incorrectly. I have heard from other employees in different departments going through the same thing. Either they are missing hours or when she so called "correct...

They were trying to steal a whole cart of stuff, probably $150 worth. So the manager, two security guards, and four cops were there trying to negotiate, right there at the door, what charges the family was going to receive based on whether they were now going to pay for the stuff they were trying to steal...

I work at a Kroger fuel center and we have had a water leak in the box for 6 months now. The leak has knocked out our air conditioning 6 times. And we are stuck in the box in 96degree heat for the entire shift. Now we have been itching and getting rashes, having memory loss, and headaches. I got my manager to te...

I'm a cashier and yesterday two of the store managers brought me to the office and said that I've been ringing up too slowly and that customers are complaining and "worried about me." I explained that I have several psychological conditions (two of which are on the ADA list of disabilities) and that I h...

What are my duties as frozen clerk on graveyard shift?

Mr Frontenac

End of shift, gotta shutdown Uscan. I'd like to know you guy's tips and techniques on shutting down Uscan when it's time to do so, and getting customers to go to the other checklanes (or in my store, the other open Uscans in addition to the cashier checklanes), without pissing customers off. Every so of...

Is there anything I can do about new hires being hired in making more than I do because they have work experience? I've been with Kroger a little over 3 years.

Planning to put my two weeks notice in and can't get a definite answer.

So, I just got off the closing shift a bit ago. And as I was getting my bags together after having done a bit of shopping and going through the line. Some random dude/customer pretty much goes out of the door. Obviously not having paid for whatever he had in his hand as the alarm was going off as he went throu...

How much do frozen department heads get paid where u are?

Kroger you already censor information on customer feedback, release the 2017 employee survey results and quit burying them. We all know how bad they are, just release them and try to improve if you still can. I have my doubts Kroger in my district is censoring and manipulating data to lie to employe...

Our union local (1996) was able to get insurance for dependents for 2018. The signup for the dependent was completed on the union web site and a confirmation number was given. Its times I just want to scream at self checkout, I cant stand it. As a matter of fact, I never see my superiors work it more than a hour or two, I believe they know it can run you up a wall. I have had customers ignore me if I simply asked them Whats wrong? but then will call me over as soon as I start helping other...

Dont you hate when someone is watching you from the time you clock in til the time you clock out! My manager didnt let me off for work during the time of my grandmothers funeral because it was Easter weekend which was violation of company polic and I was apart of the union.

To help with newbies (or long-time employees in other departments at Kroger) can someone explain clearly exactly what CAP and CAO stand for, and what they mean? Is CAP used in ALL departments? What departments do NOT use the RF scanners and/or have no need to use or understand CAO and CAP? I know s...

I figured by now there would be a lot of questions on here about what happens to employees when their store is closing, what happens when someone transfer to another store, does it mean hours, positions, seniority would change, etc? I guess no one is really that concerned or none of you live in or near th...
