What does the 'job step' in the profile on expressHR mean? does that have anything to do with pay raises?

Just checked my pension status and it's a whopping $47 a month. Lol. I really wish they would do away with it and do a 401k match. We will be lucky if the pension and SS will even be there for most of us.

on the Express HR page under {about my personal profile} --> {Salery/Wage Rate Information} is Accrued Credited Quantity. Mine is 16.00 with Quanity Remaining at 10. Anyone have any idea what that means?
