How are your stores tolls organized? For example, Ive been told that our store is backwards compared to the normal way since the bills from left to right go ones, fives, tens, twenties, and then larger bills and checks. Are other stores the other way around, with ones on the far right? Or is this just a kr...

We just switched over to this new cao program and was told that ordering will be much simpler as long as back stock is run and scanned every night and lows and holes are done every morning. The only thing we would have to focus on is ad items and special requests. Anybody here have any experience with the n...

How do we know probation is over for new employees?

Does anyone know why Kroger would be in support of this? Basically, if the front end has call ins or nobody shows up, we are not supposed to have other people replace their shifts, or offer those who called in an extra shift to cover the hours they lost when they called in. Can someone please tell me WHY thi...

"Well they need to make that bigger." This past week several customers (actually several a day) complained about the price. Some of t...

I went home with my feet sore. Not because of standing all day, well, yeah. But because my feet were half frozen for half of my shift. And I'm at the front end, inside.... Lord knows the hell the courtesy clerks doing carts have to go through. Guess I'll have to buy winter boots or something, cause these sn...

By chance was there an effective communications course or anything that you had to go through before you got into your position? I ask because I don't know where the communication dropped off yesterday or what. But from the time I came on yesterday to close bakery, my back up manager was like "I want thi...

You know what they should do? They should ask the software people responsible for programming the Uscans to make it display that "This lane is currently not accepting cash" message not just when a customer begins an order by touching the screen, but have it displaying permanently in its standby "Ope...

I'm looking at transferring to another store. The question is how do I find the job openings at other stores? I'm a dept head so I'd be looking to transfer to do the same just somewhere else.

What are the duties for Front End File Maintenance?

And before you even begin walking, some cashier walking by bumps you on the arm and says "that guy needs help." And it's always the same ca...
