I take it to the gym with me and other places. My manager was asking me for my receipt one day. She said I needed one for anythi...

I hate people saying to leave and find a better job. Why doesn't the person saying do that? If it was really that easy Kroger would have no employees. How about everyone who works for Kroger grow up and do their jobs? Why not learn the meaning of team work and work together as a team? You know it would make th...

So this morning I called into work to let a manager know I wouldn't be able to make it in because a family member was in a bad car wreck. I'm the only family they have in the state & they stay nearly 4 hours away from me. I told my manager this & he flat out said he doesn't care come into work I try to expl...

Some describe me as a nice person. I'm an introvert so I don't deal much with people. But I'm wondering, being a cashier, or even working at the customer service desk, how do you be nice and not have customers walk all over you? Some customers have been rude to me because I didn't know certain things. Like...

Oh, so because I couldn't spit out an answer in HALF a second, you just dismiss me like that? If you bothered to wait a FULL second, I was going to give you an answer. Have fun wasting another 5 minutes looking for someone else to ask.

We had a shoplifter take a bunch of stuff tonight, according to my manager. She ends up losing her balance chasing the guy down. She seemed upset that nobody helped. I was helping a customer load her stuff into a riding cart after hers died. Are we, as employees, supposed to stop shoplifters? I thought w...

I telephoned the 1-800 number, the recorded message indicated that everything was down, Kroger was working with "vendors" and had no idea what the "ETA" for fixing the system would be, ..."there is no "work around." This is worthless and Kroger has no ides what it is doing as usual.

For the past two months or so I've been placing the refund slips immediately inside the till bag located in underneath the till. I'll immediately open up the till after the customer signs it, lift the till up then place it into the bag. Bookkeeping keeps telling me my slips do not make it to the office....

do they match 4% for hourly employees? I've seen straight no. I've seen yes if member contributes 5%. I've seen if employee has worked for atleast 1 year and contributes 5%. seems there is no set one answer which is strange.

Okay so the day before yesterday we had this huge 14 tray order for a Funeral Home to pick up the next day. Amongst a few other orders that were due for that day as well. So naturally I was tasked with lending a hand(completed 3 veggie trays and 2 fruit trays), and we managed to get everything done on time for...

Any advice on how to get employees to do their job and listen to and respect a new dept. head who comes in, without having to resort to being a b*tch about it and/or writing people up? I guess i've been far too nice to people because it's obvious that to some people, they don't see me as their boss and instea...
