I thought I had heard it all, but no. A customer had been calling the store for a week asking about trees. She comes in yesterday to buy a tree and said she wanted a discount because the trees didn't come in when she wanted them to.

I just quit working at Kroger and am back on the job-hunting wagon. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a phone number for corporate HR so they can confirm my employment. Google has failed me, as has searching the forum here. Does anyone happen to have it on hand or know how to get it? I was treated qui...

Its a Pain when we are on 2 week scheduling and we cant keep people that long anymore... People quit left and right or wont show up. I wish Kroger would go back to 1 week it would make our lives much easier.

This is a struggle I work at a high volume store and when you log in to sweep and start sweeping you sometimes get called here for a clean up there for a clean up then you get side tracked and sometimes forget to log out of the store sweep. Sw...

I work in front end, do you think other front end managers would appreciate temporary help even if it's from another store?

I am a department head on nights. I like my job. It's not bad. I find myself behind all the time lately. I have missed far too many days due to lack of sleep or illness. How do I balance everything? I really need a clone or two but that isn't possible.

So I work produce at a Kroger. We are now somewhere about 60 hours unused in our department because our new hires either quit or moved because of medical problems. Meanwhile our front end is so short on help, or dealing with call ins, they have like 120 hours unused. So everyday its a constant struggle fo...

I was recently trained to work in the office and want to make sure I understand the anti money laundering regulations. There were things like if someone buys $2000 worth of gift cards then they must pay with cash and a form must be filled out. Or if someone spends more than $10,000 then a CRT form needs to b...

I asked my manager if I could clock out to go take care of a bank problem. He said as long as I was going to stay over to make the time up because he would loose the. Is this some new policy? People do this all the time and not stay.

So at my store, we have more than one Uscan, each manned by their own attendant. It's super busy. While I'm helping one customer, another customer from the other Uscan comes over and asks for my help, because they assume I control both all of the Uscans, which I don't. I tell them I'll be right there. Usua...
