I am a Utility Clerk and take my job VERY seriously. I am good at my job and complete my tasks on time. However what is wrong with just doing my job and going home? I do NOT want to chit chat with every person that walks in the store. I am NOT a "chatty Cathy" or a "Talky Tommy" by ANY means UNLESS I know you. Even...

A few months back we were down to only two working pallet jacks and one power jack in the whole store. Both straddle jacks were fine. This went on for nearly a month...and freaking vendors always had them. Fast forward to a few weeks back a couple new hand jacks come in and they fixed the wheels on the two br...

And the end result is that we need to wash our hands more....I really hope they don't print stuff out like that for the customers to read anywhere. Cause that would make it sound like we aren't keeping up with our hygiene or something. And I know for sure that isn't the case in the bakery. Dealing with so mu...

How can I get it changed for Kroger to start playing gospel music at their stores? My friend Tammy and I want gospel music b/c we like it. Who do I have to email to ask to play gospel songs? Does anyone know please? Thanks Terri

Am I the only one who thinks that Kroger has a problem with Too much management? In any given day I'll have not just my own store's co manager and store manager inspecting things, but I'll have regional and division managers poking their head into my dept, asking questions, pointing out what they woul...

So I've been told that we can't return baby formula because it's against the law, and that's fine. That's what I've been telling people with tobacco and formula both. However, recently a customer pitched a fit about it and said she looked it up and there's no law against it. Is it federal law or company p...

I was asked by my back up manager to reveal the King's Hawaiian display in the front by our chicken shop. And naturally I go to do so(even though we have boxes upon boxes up on that shelf and I can barely reach the boxes I need without being on tip toe on the step ladder), move the step ladder out the way and one...

Seems kind of ****ty for my schedule writer to give me one. That is how bad our store is at training cashiers for fuel and SCO. Someone is on vacation at fuel so this happens!

Mr Frontenac

In what situation should I use either?

Anyone else about ready to give up on this company? so i've been a bakery manager for about a year. I'm at my third store i've worked in, my second as a manager. and honestly, i wish i'd never been sent here. This store is 400 hours+ understaffed, and my department alone is about 40-50 hours understaffed....

Hey all, So our new operations ASM is trying to get a bunch of people trained as a relief cashier since our front end is screwed up and the front end manager can't write a schedule. It bothers me that she's trying to pull people from their jobs to cover up other crap in the store instead of fixing the main i...

I'm looking to start a 401k. I've been with Kroger 3 years, but I'm not sure how long I'll be there. Does Kroger's 401k transfer and how much do they match? Note: I've done research and I can't find much information on it. -- Edited by DanielleNicole94 on Monday 30th of October 2017 08:18:03 PM
