Our store mgr got back from a meeting he and others spent the week at and one of the things they talked about was dropping the Union. Has anyone else heard about this? I know our union kinda sucks but i would be more scared not having one at all and being walked all over by managment.

Them: I can't find a damn thing in this store me: I'm sorry about that sir. Was there anything in particular you were looking for? them: *chuckles* gah I don't know. lots of t...

Not all items are appropriate for this-sometimes it is much better to fill the bag up and let it go. Why all this emphasis about "build a wall" bagging all of a sudden?!? It's really being pushed in my store-tips on how to deal with it?

Is it a good department to get in to?

I work grocery night shift, as some of you may already know from earlier posts. Can they write me up for leaving right when the schedule says at 8:30, instead of staying overtime to finish stocking/conditioning? Can I do this during the holidays when we get f**ked with a huge load?

Does your store have Clicklist? Is there ongoing issues (Staffing, Picking of Items, Payment Processing) ?

With all of the extra crap like residual scanning and sorting off slow movers, mandatory daily back stock, and now the loss of a conditioner to make up the hours the crew lost when this system rolled out I am spending between 3-4 hours a day doing it. I work at a smaller store (300k/WK) which means I'm resp...

Has anyone heard a Barry Manilow song on the Kroger music playlist? I can't remember EVER hearing one, although I have only been working here for close to 4 years. And to any of you who have a low opinion of his music, I will just say in my opinion, he has a strong, powerful voice with great depth of emotion,...

How might I find out the title and artist for a song that is played in a local Kroger affiliate (from the in-store audio network)?

Do you think kroger will continue to cut meat? Or go the way of wallmart ?

OK So we get customers who call in their orders ahead of time. I Love these customers, because I can prepare what they want without them standing there waiting. We don't put the price stickers on because customers will grab the orders and walk away. We then don't know if it was the customer who ordered it...

At every job I have ever worked at Sunday was always a nightmare at most of them. I have seen a lot of things from fights, people getting run over , fender benders and various acts of uncleanliness and lack of consideration. This last week as I was leaving to go home I was in the break room talking to one of th...
