What store would I have to work at so I can be on the PA saying things like "I'm never too busy to stop and help a customer, never, 'cause that's what I'm there for" and the guy who's so dead set on proclaiming that "THIS IS MY STORE!" that he sounds like he's about to go into cardiac arrest?

is all this more work/less hours what they see as "progress"? I can't remember a time when we had less help. I'm just sick of it. We're supposed to be putting the customer first, yet store almost never gets conditioned, trucks are rolling into the next day, backstock only occasionally gets ran. We...

how come they act like they don't know to show you how to use the hand head units at Kroger? Is there some place online I can d/l a copy of a basic manual for use? I asked another employee about this issue and was told they didn't want me taking anyone's job. That sounds stupid to me. With a union in place how co...

say you just grab what it spits out and walk off. You realize that it gave you too much. Is that stealing? I always look at my change and wonder what I'd do if it spit out a ten instead of a five or something. My response would be "It's not my job to fill the uscans" or "I didn't count it, it must be right"

What is the proper recourse for this? I work as a file clerk and the grocery manager(dick guy) said to me, "How is it to be Paula's little bitch?" Paula's the main file clerk.

Kroger WILL NOT hire me! I give up on this corporation. What is it about "no experience, because I had difficulty finding a job" don't they (corporate) understand? This is ENTRY LEVEL WORK, not something that requries a degree in some bulls***. I had two open interviews and one by appointment. B...

I work in the nashville division of Kroger. I started working in july at 7.70, which was .25 above starting pay because of experience credit. The union pay raise raised starting pay to 8.00 shouldn't I be making above the new starting pay? I make 8.00 which should be 8.25 if i still make 25 cents more than...

I joined a union during orientation and I am 17 years old. I want to know how to get out of a union to stop paying those union dues. I am trying to call my Union rep but he hasn't been available. I work in Kroger Atlanta Division 697 in Savannah, GA. They take $7.30 out of my paycheck every week and I rarely have...

I am very upset to see what my store has become. This may get a little literal, but I'm going to blunt about it. There is a store in the delta division, 623, that is absolutely horrible. I have been threatened by a department head, called a liar and look like a homeless person by my store manager, and the un...

Seems like night trucks are the norm, but at my store we don't do that crap! I'd transfer out of grocery if they ever started doing that crap! KMP sits once the store closes, we run it the next morning. We don't even have a crew anymore really. It's one or two guys to run the whole thing. I should say thi...

So tonight we had four inches of rain fall in the city. Our store lost power twice around 530ish tonight and the second time, Service desk said "we're calling it" and made an announcement (while the Grocery manager and another manager are in the security office trying to figure out what the hell is goin...

My Kroger does not adhere to Federal Guidelines for breaks and lunches. I have been told that you only get a lunch if you work over 7 hours, but this is not federal law. Sometimes we have to take a break and lunch within 1 hour of being at work. I talked to my union steward but nothing has been done. I was a...
