So I was wondering if I would get in trouble when the camera under the register catches another customers paper towels or soda for instance when they're leaving while I'm starting a new order. It's not like I didn't scan it because I did. Also wondering what gets me written up/suspended/fired with Lan...

After 41 at Ralphs, I finally pulled the pin. As a full time clerk, will I miss the $57,000 a year pay? Hell, NO. I have 2 bothers who work for Kroger in Mgmt. positions, one being an Ops Coordinator (ADM), the other a store manager making well over $100,000. While they make great money, I chose the union...

I just got hired at Kroger for the Night File Clerk - I am going into orientation tomorrow. Anyone know what I will be doing exactly.... that is not in the description? I work in Kentucky. What can you tell me about this position? They said my orientation is only 2 hours long... what will I be doing?

I switched departments a few weeks ago from cashier to drug/gm. I also work file maintenance. I'm still making only $7.55 an hour. I began at Kroger making only $7.35 that was 15 months ago. Am I supposed to be getting paid any more since I switched departments?

New guy is getting 10hours more than me every week. I have been working for over a year and his been working over a month only. Can union help me? Does seniority matter?

Is there a way for me to look up my union contract online or do I have to get it from my union rep?

Management seems not to care just ke...

I work overnights on a stock crew at Fry's in AZ. Lately, after midnight, the music changes from the all too familiar tunes that we're used to...and becomes more metal. Actually most of it is that new metal stuff that I'm not into.Too old. There is a catchy song though. Sounds like hair metal, and like th...

When I was hired this summer, the managers of the store were aware I would be leaving for college in August. I'm moving into my apartment the second week of August, and I'm wondering when I should let the store know when I'll be gone, and how I should go about it? I am planning to come back to work for Christm...

I was helping out at a store remodel(week long project), during our mandatory blackout weeks at my reset job, and was talking to this one guy who is 21 so we're the about the same age. He didn't have a car so he rode the bus to the job location. He mentioned earlier in the day that he was looking for an overnig...

(not a troll question, possibly a stupid one though) What is the point of scanning the items a customer was going to steal but didn't if they don't actually detain the would-be thief? Tonight a guy was spotted acting suspiciously with a cart full of steaks and beer etc, only thing missing was laundry de...

Okay. So with wic, I was putting it into the machine, and there was no print on it after it was done processing. I stuck it in the drawer anyway... could I be fired for this? I'm new by the way.

I have a job interview next Tuesday with another place. I've been looking for a new job for a while and this is the first interview I've gotten since I started looking. The pay is better and it's a guaranteed full time position. I'm hoping to get this job so I can leave Kroger for a better paying job. I've be...

if I have to call in, should I first try to speak to my department head or the manager of the store?
