What does it mean when a customer uses their plus card and simple items come back as restricted? It happened one time with cornmeal. Help. Thanks!

He didn't schedule my paid personal day I wanted to take this week because he said he didn't know how. He gave me the day off without pay though. I told him I would put another day on the eschedule. He said he didn't know how to schedule it. OMG I had to tell him ok, I would find out for him and let him know. ...

I've worked at a Kroger store for about two months now. When I first started, the HR person said that I have to ask every customer if they've found everything ok and ask for the loyalty card. If I don't do those things and I get a secret shopper, apparently they can use that against me. I ask 75% of m...

I quit Kroger in March. I didn't fill out a quit the union card thing. What does the quit the union thing do? Do I get all the stolen money from my paycheck back? I was paying "UNION DUES 1" and "UNION ARREARS" and by the time I quit I think "UNION ARREARS" stopped coming ou...

do employees at kroger get paid wednesday or thursday this week

One of our Co managers announced that over the intercom today around 6PM. I've never heard that before. I work in meat and seafood and we were slammed, so none of us (3 of us back there) went up to help bag, after all, that's what the courtesy clerks are hired to do, and front end already took about 5 hours fr...

Do we get paid Wednesday or Thursday since it's Thanksgiving on pay day?!

For a part timer, how much do you pay each week (or month?) for part time insurance? And how do you like it? I'm in the Nashville division by the way. I've asked coworkers but they all say something different. Thanks!

Supposed to work tomorrow afternoon and it's supposed to rain in the Atlanta area. Going to see how they work out. Last time it had a sudden downpour here, I had to go and buy some of the socks we sell, because my shoes got soaked through and it was like walking in sponges.

That's a bit of an exaggeration --- I've seen the phone answered. But on a day like today when I need to let them know that I may be a little late due to family emergencies, the phone just rings and rings and rings. Why? Because, of course, Front End runs the Customer Service desk, and at my store, Front End i...

How are we supposed to know where EVERY item in the store is, off the top of our heads? I can usually guess where it is, just by looking at the list of items above the aisles, but we NEVER got trained where things are. Then customers get angry when we don't know where some obscure items are.

I need some help. I looked on my profile, and, well, okay, I am a courtesy clerk, I saw under current job step, it says 500. One, what does that mean, and two, do courtesy clerks get raises? At orientation, they said they do, but also, actually, when I got hired, my pay was what cashiers start out with an...

These kids ask for my money, want to use my personal items and eat my food. They just grab from me and do not even ask. I'm not their momma and I'm tired of it. Can anything that can be done about it? And saying no never seems to work.

Hey fellow Kroger employees! I need your help. I'm the lead night stocker for my store and I'm having issues dealing with the insanity of the grocery manager. Put simply, he abuses his stockers mentally and sometimes emotionally. Not saying that we're all weak spirited or anything but the guy is good...
