So we recently got our "Taste of Mexico" aprons in the deli. They wouldn't let us wear the ugly ass shirts, just the aprons. Well one of the guys in the deli asked if he could have a shirt instead and our store secretary, asp, hr person or what ever the hell she calls herself threatened to writ...

Hi, I would like to know who usually does the scheduling. Is it the manager of the department or the HR, who hired me? I want to know because I need to request some days off,

I want to know how many hours does a co- manager at Kroger work? What is the schedule like?

My Tennessee Kroger only gives one 15 minute break on a six hour shift. The Tennessee Department of Labor states that an employee must have a thirty minute lunch if he/she is scheduled for at least six consecutive hours. Is my Kroger breaking state law or is there something I'm missing? I really just wa...

why is it when you ask 3 different managers about transferring to another department they ignore you. Getting tired of being ignored. The pay isn't worth driving 50 miles a day to be ignored. I guess I'll be looking for another job.

And it's absolutely terrifying everyone else. So far three cashiers have been fired, including one who's worked on the front for a whopping 20(!) years, has been in the union for years, and is well-known for being ethical and knowledgable. And supposedly there's more to come next week. And they've b...

Recently our full time utility clerk was fired and they've been making several of us part time front end people have the utility hours. Most of us weren't trained on utility and they didnt bother training us for it either. All I know is to do the bathrooms every 2 hours, trash and the occasional spill. Bu...

Do any other front end employees have trouble with breaks and lunches being over an hour late? This seems to happen through the week at times, but always on the weekends. One of our minors asked about his break with only 15 minutes left in his shift and was told by the office clerk in charge, not to bothe...

Today at work I found 2 $10.00 scratchers in the trash. They were unused so I scratched them and won about $100.00 between them. If I cash them in at work can I get fired over it? It's too late to turn them in...and they were in the trash to begin with? What do I do?

Ok so I just checked my paystub for tomorrow's check and they only gave me 32 hours instead of 40. One day when I tried clocking in it said schedule not found, and i told the HR person and she said she put it in the computer as me working 1-9 that day. I don't think it made it's way onto the paycheck though. So no...

Saw one of my friends that works in the fuel center the other day and even our fuel center clerks are required to wear the ugly shirts. Now I can see the Mexican related themes and demos in the store, but what the hell do they have related to Mexico in the fuel center? Jalapeno flavored carb cleaner? -- Ed...

The customers at the Smith's store I work at get so pissed off at us when we try to direct them to a new checkstand or to U-Scan. I've had a lot of people refuse to move and end up creating a line because they simply don't want to move. Our Store Managers get pretty pissed about it but agree that we can't force t...

People associate the nastiest products to Mexico, you aren't gonna change their minds with some trashy t-shirts made in Haiti and a few cheap displays. Already a fail, people are laughing at it as soon as they walk in. How about a "Taste of America" you morons.
