My store is being converted into a semi-marketplace, and rumor has it that once the front end is done being renovated, we'll have a Walmart-style bagging system with no courtesy clerks to bag groceries. CC's will still be around to get carts, perform carry-outs and help with shrink, but I foresee mas...

I just recently got employed at Kroger. I need an EU ID so I can log onto Eschedule and know when I'm scheduled to start work and so I can request some days off that I forgot to write down on the sheet that I was given at orientation. How do I go about obtaining the EU ID? -- Edited by DanielleNicole94 on Sunday...

So, I have recently started at my local Kroger and I have seen a posting for the Little Clinic that fits my prior job duties better than my current job. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but familiarity and more hours/pay would benefit me at this time and when originally interviewed, I campaigned for a ph...

We have a supervisor at our store who is in a very public relationship with a bagger/cashier who is several years younger. The two leave for breaks together and consistently take much longer than they are supposed to. The bagger also gets special treatment and doesn't have to work nearly as hard as the...

The reason I ask is that a co worker of...

So yeah, there's a catchy pop song that plays about every day at our Kroger, definitely sung by a woman. The lyrics in the chorus are "Not a picture perfect cookie cutter girl, (cause?) I don't wanna be a stereotype", and aside from a handful of mentions on the Internet (other people lookin...

There is an instrumental swing/big band/jazz song on the radio at Kroger. I don't know much about that kind of music. It sounds like it would be on the "Swing Kids" movie sound track. The start of the song (drums) is a very famous bit. I've heard it before, seems like a lot of places (movie...

What is the dumbest thing you've been written up for? Here's a classic: Not calling management for help whenever ONE of the 5 lines has more than one person in line. Like what the hell

I work in the meat department and we've been doing quite well in the past few years with sales up and very little shrink, however despite having all these sales our hours are cut down. I love my store manager, he is an awesome boss, but he lets the district manager walk all over him. We could push forward an...

Is this normal? I was wearing a sweatshirt to work all winter - the standard black one with a zipper. Today was chilly (the temp was in the 50s and we work right near the door) so I was wearing my sweatshirt and the manager comes over and tells me "it's too warm to be wearing a sweatshirt, take it off!&q...
