I at the end of last month I bought tickets to a three day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) event next month. I asked for the days off in February, but the front-end manager said (s)he wouldn't even look at my request until the last moment but that there probably won't be a problem. I've been a courtesy clerk si...

Does anyone have a clue as to what marta bus runs to the Alpharetta Ga Training Store? I know its a long shot to find someone who knows just asking just in case.

So I joined the union last week. Today my supervisor, whose 20+ years of Kroger have turned her into an automaton, basically said "We either do this, or I send you home," in response to my blasphemous questioning of her methods and teachings. So, if I HAD been sent home -- I wasn't -- would tha...

I have a question. I am the cosmetician at my store in district 014, zone B. I'm not sure if this is pertaining to every store state wide or not but I was just told today by my drug gm receiver that stores are doing away with the cosmetician title. I knew this was in the works but didn't actually think it woul...

the final offer proposed contract is available in stores and voting is next Tuesday & Wednesday. There's still no pay increase except for the top rate, still no spousal coverage, still an increase in employee health care premiums. Looks like the same thing that was already voted down which is...

So, I was looking at my schedule online. For the next week, it says "Time Off Approved". However, I most certainly did not ask for any time off. I looked into it more and it said that I made all of the requests in one day. Odd thing is, I have a regular schedule on top of that week. For example, I...

None of the on call people were called even though as I mentioned we were short handed, and had about five people quit storewi...

I'm currently a cashier. The store manager is saying that he'll move me to a different department starting next week. The thing is, I don't want to. Am I within my right to say no to them? I don't want to move because I actually have people to talk to. I used to work as a stocker and it's always been just me an...

Are these just horrible? My store has had a dozen postings for these in the past month for nearby Krogers along with a few backup positions in deli/bakery, but that's it. I know grocery dept heads mainly work nights (isn't there also a night crew lead?) but is it THAT bad?

Our time clocks have been out for three days. The one by the customer service desk wouldn't work at all yesterday and the day before. The one upstairs worked yesterday and the day before but it was offline. Today, neither one worked. The one upstairs was frozen at 4:45 AM. We had to write down all ou...
