Usually, produce is along one of the perimeter walls and most people shop that area first. This ridiculous remodel they're doing has it in the middle of the store. It seems rather illogical to put it there. They also have the deli and the frozen food and dairy sections on opposite sides of the store...

What an opportunity I got to get out of 933 and transfer to a store where profits are put above politics. Where the store manager, manages the store and doesn't treat their job like a child, gossiping and walking about the store chatting on her cell phone/shaking her fat behind in front of employee...

Well today we started enrolling people on our new time clock. It scans your fingerprint just like the old one, just has a bigger screen and more buttons. Also today posted in our receiving area and breakroom was a new dress code for vendors. Wasn't aware that there was a problem with this, but there w...

I decided to take all of my vacation weeks all at once at the end of the year. However, I had to work a week while someone else took theirs and then I resumed the rest the week after. Is this due to seniority? I ask because the other person is a spot above me.

If you didn't sign up for paperless W2's in time to get yours online when is Kroger mailing out paper W2's?

Found some old posts on Fuel Clerks and wondering what the pay starts out at and if it has gone up since then? Shouldnt that job be higher paying than any other with all the requirements and duties you have throughout the shift?

How is it that when Management tells you to do the hole shoot and a certain dept head hates you refuses to let you scan their dept. I have brought it up to management and they say I will talk to her about it, but never does. Then I take it to the next level and go over their head. Then I'm at fault for doing that. W...

I don't know what Kroger's policy is on this, but at Wa-Fart we've been instructed to NOT APPROVE ANY call-offs due to weather....No matter how severe, even if a county-wide emergency has been declared and for people to stay home, on threat of being arrested. Yes, this is bull $hit but, yes, I unfortun...

Hey guys! I've been working for Ralphs for about 1.5 months or so now... and before I was hired they said something like "I can guarantee you 16hrs a week at least." So I accepted the job, thinking I'd get 16-20ish hours a week. Well I started working, and my schedule? 16... 16... 16... I got 18...

How would you run a store? Unfortunately, I'd have to say if I ran the store I worked at, I'd have to run off half of the people I worked with. Management at my store believes in a country club environment obviously. How would you run a store? I'm a bit old school, full disclosure.
