So apparently there was an issue back when they hired some people in my store, and now they need to see a lot of our driver's license and social security card. The problem? I can't find mine. I've called my mom and dad (they were the ones who were holding onto it) and they lost it. Now I don't know what to do. I...

Can I request one while on probation? My family has an annual cookie thing for Christmas and this year it's on the 22nd. Wondering if I could request the day off even though I've only been there about a month.

At my store our schedule is usually posted by 1 p.m. on Friday. Contract says noon, but our office people are lazy idiots. Anyway, while on break the other day the schedule still hadn't been posted by 2:30, an hour before I went home. The secretary told me the mangers were upstairs hacking away at hou...

When I first started at Kroger in the meat department, my usual shift was 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Now I'm always scheduled for evenings. Like 4p - 10p. This isn't a HUGE deal because I do have open availability, I was just wondering what would make them change it? Will it change back or will I always be working even...

It's late and I have to work tomorrow, so I'm curious as to what everyone's department is? I hope I got them all down (I put an Other in case I had a brainfart) but I just want to see what kind of diversity we have on the forums. I'm floral.

The store is way to damn big. It takes more than 30 minutes to go from on side of the damn store to the other. The f-ing managers do not care what they have to throw away along as there is food out. The waste that this place has is unbelieveable they are just throwing money away at an astonishing rate. First th...

Yesterday, it was eighty degrees... today, it's twenty-nine and there is a winter storm warning covering an extremely wide area of the state I live in. Lots of freezing rain is falling, there is the potential for sleet and snow, and conditions are supposed to deteriorate as the night goes on and tomor...

I started Kroger in July and as of last paycheck, I'm STILL paying this union initiation fee??? I've paid $80 so far in "UNION ARREARS" and $160.83 in "UNION DUES 1"... When will it stop? Why are the dues so high too?

Same problem as a lot of people. Can't change availibility schedule from my home computer. Was unable to get to place to change it.

What are the advantages of a union? Are the benefits good? Etc. Thanks for any input.

You know I bust my tail to make the grand reopening go well. Then they do this ****** e-schedule ,and I get screwed over I've worked for Kroger's for over 4 yrs now. I feel cheated by the system. I have an open schedule. Now I have to make room for a second job. My load is heavy enough with trying to pay rent,...

I saw my manager a day or two ago while shopping on my day off. He mentioned that I will have 28 hours next week and I could've sworn he said that eschedule updates on Thursday but I look today and it is still blank. Just wanna know when it will update so I don't accidentally miss a day or something.

No one working at Kroger should make the wages they give. I wanted a part time position and worked 48 hours for a total of a whopping $258.00 The Bakery kicked my ass with a freezer full 10ft high. The sheer pain I felt from the brutal physical acts during the day was sooooo not worth the money. Look at other...

I am a courtesy clerk and customers always flirt with me. do you think I could get away with ****ing some of them in the bathroom?

When your part time does that mean you have to work 30 something hours every single week. And also can they fire you for requesting off too often. I have a sick family member who needs to be looked after, and when i requested next week Saturday and Sunday off, my manager told me that i can't do that even with...

I recently had two co-workers from another department come to U-scan and attempt to buy alcohol. After checking both of their ID's it became clear that neither of the two were 21. I proceeded to remove the product from the area and informed my floor supervisor of the incident and she went on to tell our s...
