It's better to be a floater?
(Preview)
With all the cut-backs on hours and such lately, one thing I've noticed is that floaters have retained all of their hours still. I'm a floater as well, so I didn't actually realize how bad the cut-back in hours was until I started talking with people in different departments, and started looking at peo...

Shocked and Disappointed in Starting Pay
(Preview)
Back in 2006 I started out as cashier at Kroger making $7.10 when minimum wage was $5.15. By the time I left just over 2 years later I was making, if I remember correctly, $8.93. I needed a job recently and decided to reapply to work at a Kroger on the other side of town. Got hired in as a fuel center cashier a...

If so...can someone write me and tell me, in detail, what happens during the night...if it's easy or hard. I understand it will be physical...

Does anyone else
(Preview)
Just curious, how many other people here have to deal with anyone who just has an attitude problem? The dairy lead in my store has such an attitude problem if I try to talk to her about anything. I don't know if she does it to me or to everyone. If I'm unloading my stuff off a skid from the truck, she'll huff an...

Kroger practices when closing a store
(Preview)
I was employed for one of Kroger stores that just recently closed. We were told to fill out a transfer form unlike the original form than you will fill out when you want to move to another store. When confronted, we weren't given many choices. There were only 2 choices either fill out the transfer for...

union needs to go kroger needs to step up
(Preview)
If Kroger wants to be succesfull its time to pay employees better. If you offer 20 hours a week at minimum wage, you're going to get people who don't care about their job, people who don't plan to stay with kroger, people who use kroger as an inbetween from no job to where they really want to be. If a perso...

Hours/Sales
(Preview)
Ok so we've been told that the sales = hours. The more you make in sales, the more hours you get. To me, this makes no sense. If a department is behind, then don't they need the hours so they can catch back up? I mean if you have less hours, the bare minimum gets done, which doesn't help improve your sales much...
