Atleast you're getting that. My whole front end now have around 10+ hours. I usually get around 30 hours now I have 12 hours. Every week my schedule is looking more pathetic. And as far as we know they haven't hired anyone just poor scheduling. Everyday they have to call someone in because we are short....

Alright guys, so I have a quick question about my vacation. am I suppose to automatically get the sunday following my vacation off? Reason why I ask, every time someone in my department (produce) takes a vacation they always get the following Sunday off? This is not the case for me.

So they finally incorporated the schedules online, and as many of you have voiced your displeasure on the subject, I have some concerns as well. It's fairly insignificant, nevertheless a question i would like to know. My schedule from September 22 to the 28th has me for 21 hours, which is fine, howeve...

Hello all. I am hoping that an employee or former employee can help me out with this question. What happens to the shelf returned cheese products? What does Kroger do with their expired cheese and cheese that has packaging issues that their customers do not buy?

E-Schedule will supposedly be implemented by the end of October in the division I'm in, and I've noticed it be mentioned on here by some that the whole point of E-Schedule is to limit a person's hours to below twenty-something if that person is part time. Obviously Kroger as a company will never admit t...

So can anyone tell me the point of E-Schedule? Other than making it easier to request time off, it's pointless. At my store ever since it started it's been one mess after another. For starters when it began people at my store were being scheduled outside their availability. On the front end kid stil...

This morning I was slicing meat for sandwich production and I kept smelling this awful odor. The bakery person smelled it too - every time she walked by. Turns out it was coming from underneath the slicer. Um, Gross. So I move the slicer to clean under it (thanks a lot night crew for doing your job).....

I've been working in the Deli department since June, 2013. During my orientation, I was told I would get an experience-based raise because I used to work at another grocery store. I even mentioned the fact(during the orientation) I used to be a bagger and the manager running the orientation told me it...

I don't know about any other stores, but my store insists on putting out fresh donuts every day. And every day we throw them away. Why? Because they're loaded with FLIES!! Yes, flies. The donut case is on the counter as soon as you walk in the door. Whenever I'm working, I constantly discourage an...

Why would our Kroger trucks be delivering to WalMart ...they did this late at night

nocturnia · nocturnia

Interesting thing, watching these two behemoths squaring off against one another. Someone recently posted that "Wal-Mart doesn't consider Kroger serious competition.." Well, that's exactly right; they don't. And that arrogant thinking is exactly at the heart of what's wrong with...

I've been working at my department since the summer and I work 2 jobs. When I was hired/interviewed/first day I explained that there are certain days I was unable to work as I will be working 8+ hours at the other job. The department head and the boss of my other job got on the phone and worked out an availab...

How is Kroger cutting back at your store? I've worked for Kroger for 2 years now, here are some changes I've seen at our store: 1. Big K Soda machine in break room: Still only 25 cents BUT they now put the dented up cans in there. Thanks Kroger! I could barely get mine opened the other night it was so ba...
