I just wanted to make sure, because I seemed to recall seeing a post here once before saying that departments with service counters aren't supposed to be called up to the front to check or sack. There's someone in my store who works in the Deli, and they call her up to the front to check a lot of times, and fr...

I found out some info as to why I got a cut in pay. One of the cashiers had surgery on their arm some time ago. I'm not sure what exactly happened to facilitate this. But, it seems that this person decided to sue the store. I don't think the surgery was from an incident at work. Has anyone else had this happen?...

So, a few weeks ago I won a "Rewarding Great People" drawing. I came in third in my district which netted me $500. It will be 2 weeks on Monday since the drawing was held. When will I see the cash? Or check? Will it come to my home or the store? If I have direct deposit, will it just show up in m...

I started in the Pharmacy and I don't think I'm a good fit for the position. Is there a way for me to move to another job, like cashier or bagger? Do I have to be in the union first?

I had a customer asking where our glue was. I took him straight to the school supply section thinking he might have needed some elmer's glue. Turns out he needed some kind of glue with a weird chemical name. I almost said "sir, that's not us, there's an ACO Hardware on the other side of the lot.&qu...

Does anyone have the story on how/why the District 10 Deli MR is now a co-manager? I noticed the other day she was in a store, and word is she's now a co- but had no details as to how/why. To go from being a deli MR for about 10 years to being a co- is not a career advancing move in my books, so it sounds like a demot...

Do the salary managers (non-union) make the schedules or is it made by union supervisors? My son works for Kroger's in Indiana and did not join the union but he consistently gets less hours than his friends who are in the union. He also works every weekend night, never getting an early shift. Thank...

I've been getting an error message that too many people are on the site for the last 4 hours. Seriously? Is it just my computer acting up, are there really people crowding the site for some reason?
