Judging by some of the posts here, I don't think everybody will agree, but at the store I work, I think I've been really fortunate when it comes to co-managers. I've heard of co-managers on power trips, yet none of the ones that I've worked with in the past or currently have abused their authority from wh...

You're a nice guy and all, but damn, quit relying on a single grocery clerk (me) to be one of your courtesy clerks when your squad of 6+ courtesy clerks are just too damn slow. Normally I wouldn't have mind, but after hearing you say "Oh man, I didn't know you were here! If I did I would've been callin...

Hi all! This is my first post here. I've read quite a few stories on here and can't believe the crap that goes on at some of these Krogers. For a bit of background info my Kroger is nothing like that. It is very well managed. We are actually in the top 20 of Krogers overall. All the floor managers are cool a...

So, I've known that Chobani has made a voluntary recall of their yogurt due to quality issues. However, my store still orders, receives, and stocks the yogurt. Are they supposed to still be doing that? Oddly enough though, they've posted an email notice from Chobani that alerts people to said issue...

They say that its "better" I spent more time fixing it then if I plugged the office, uscan and fes shifts. I was told that uscan shifts are 12am to 830am 8 to 430 4 to 1230. Ok who is going to run the 830 lunch for uscan? The office person left at 730. Only person is the accounting clerk. If i sen a ca...

what kinds of things do you remember that lasted for a month or two, or maybe just never happened at all that were "new" with key refailing? OLD: I remember an "off the dock" log for DSD...they wanted us to literally log every time we left the dock for any reason. It lasted maybe...

I'm talking about front end calling up non-front end people. On a semi-busy day (friday afternoon, senior day, 1st of the month day, etc), how often do they call for people other than front end to come check and bag? At my store a couple of supervisors like to call 3-4 people at a time. Not because they...

I have been working at Kroger for about 3 months and the other day this kid walks to my register and somehow manages to take the $100 bill he payed me with plus his change. The video shows me giving him back the bill - for some reason, they keep telling me that's how they operate by confusing one - and now I hav...

I quit my job at Kroger back in June, but I have been having some issues trying to get insurance coverage. I know there's something called COBRA which extends my insurance coverage with kroger. How can I file for this? Or where can I call to find more about this? THanks for your help

Is 6th day in the same week overtime? Or can they work you every day of the week as a part-timer?

I was hired as a courtesy clerk, and worked for nine months before being upgraded to cashier. During that time, I made minimum wage ($7.25/hour). On Kroger's ExpressHR website, it says my raise to $7.40/hour will not take effect until six months *after* my promotion to cashier (so, not until January...
