Why would Kroger fire a Customer Service Desk employee for helping a customer scratch off lottery tickets. It was at closing and the customer asked her for assistance. No written warning at all, just terminated. What say you?

I looked at my paystub for 1/4/13 and it looks like they're taking out too much for medicare. I believe the tax rate is 1.45%, but it looks like they took out closer to 6%. On Wednesday we all had to go upstairs and take a computer test on data leaks. One of the things they talked about in the test was posting negative things about Kroger anywhere online, including forums. It made me laugh.
