I work about 35hrs a week with Sunday pay. With my hourly rate and dues, etc, etc, etc it comes to say $220.00. Well, my last check was $40.00 less than what I normally get. So what is going on? Dues increasing or anything similar? Or is this another way of this god-forsaken company screwing someone over?...

Is it true that part timers have to work a minimum of 1350 hours in 12 months to get their yearly raise in Michigan under local 876 ? That works out to 26 hours per week. How is that going to happen if management wants everyone under 24 hours per week ? That means I'll be stuck at $7.40 an hour forever ? Thi...

You can buy flowers with food stamps?! You can buy lobster and prime cuts of beef! Mmm! You can buy your $180 WEDDING CAKE! Fa...

It's really not that great of a job unless you are a manager and then you are probably only still making 15 bucks an hour or so and you can't live on that. So why do people stay when Kroger pays little and expects more and more from employees. I have always wondered and need an insiders thoughts on this. Don'...

I am going to be on educational leave starting Sunday. I will not be in town on Thursday when we get our paychecks. Will it be mailed to me? Or will I have to come back and get it?

Here's a "marvelous" (NOT!) idea; Lets put new hires to work without finishing their training. They received web training and VERY minimal, closer to none actually on hands on training. So all their web training consisted of was checkstand etiquette, customer service, and how to bag it...

What positions at Kroger would you consider to be low keyed posts. I want a position that would not draw too much attention to myself. Any ideas ?

I cannot find any information written down about this, but I've heard from coworkers that Kroger offers tuition reimbursement. Would anyone happen to know where I can find any written docs about this?

Lately I've noticed that there are swarms of bees that surround our bottle bins in the receiving area. I myself am not allergic to bee stings (to the best of my knowledge), but I did get stung when I was a little kid and I do not want to get stung again. A few of us have mentioned the issue to management but so f...

Ok, I need help on how to do a backstock review, specifically for Dairy. I've gotten different ways on how to do it from the dairy lead and the one I normally end up working with. The first (and so far, only) time I've done it, it turned out that I've rang 250+ items. That, honestly, is bad, since I compared...
