When I look at our schedules, it's not exactly "alphabetical" order. Is it by seniority? By number of hours working?

Can anyone tell me all of the orders that are in nutrition. I need to know the days each order goes off and comes in. I've asked but haven't gotten a solid answer.

I was told as of today the front end has to cover all the fuel breaks not the lunches just the breaks. So if the fuel center person comes in at 6am they would have to go on break at 7 so the accounting person can take theirs by 730 and then try to get the service desk open by 8. The non foods dept use to have run all t...

Hey guys, I have been a store clerk at kroger for 4 years and ten months and am currently on nights. I'm making 12.40 an hour and got full time sometime in March of this year. If I go to days (which is what I'm trying to do) will I keep my 12.20? On the full time pay rate chart it shows 12.40 but I don't know if my se...

Hey everyone, I recently started working for Kroger in June. I was hired as a cashier, and trained as a courtesy clerk/cashier. I did both for about two months then out of the blue my schedule said that I was training in the fuel center the following week. So I trained in the fuel center for two and a half d...

I just started working meat and seafood. I am scheduled to work 32 hours. I am always called in on my day off. This would essentially mean that I am working full time. (I'm 18 and in school, no time for full time.) My question is this. Am I required to come in to work on my day off if my boss calls me in? I underst...

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I found out yesterday that I need surgery on my right wrist to remove a painful ganglion cyst. My orthopedic surgeon told me I most likely formed it during my 2 years as a bagger because they are typically a result of repetitive movement. I was a bagger from...

I have been the acting dept head since May. Today management said I just don't care enough so they demoted me. Found out the girl taking over has received money from the manager and the manager bought the girl gift cards as personal gifts etc. I didn't think managers could do that. Plus the new guy h...

I was just curious due to my recent issues what exactly other functions of dept. head of drug gm could be? I do the schedules. I make and review orders. I'm normally out of town on my day off and have to sometimes call in for my schedule. One day when I did this I got a lecture and a "don't do that again" speech. I let it slide, but when I was hanging up I heard, "Oh, this person is calling about their schedule again." Well, that snide co...

I was just hired at Kroger's to work in the bistro (originally they said they were going to put me in the Starbuck's but then they changed their mind so I'm already pissed). What benefits do you get from the union working part time? Right now all it seems to do is pull my wage down to taking home less than min...
