I was on lot duty and was bringing a load toward the back when I saw a lady being dropped off near the door. I put the carts up and noticed a $10 bill on the ground from where she got out. I went inside to track her down and handed her the money. She told me there was more and us and a co-manager went back out to do a ...

1. I have training tomorrow and was wondering if the badge or employee number is what we use to sign in for shifts? 2. How and when do we sign up for the union? 3. I'm specifically a produce clerk and was wondering what the job is like from other produce clerks? (ie. hours, working environment etc.)

Just wondering if that's allowed? I'm pretty sick but I think the manager is going to give me a hard time. I don't call off a lot, but I did call off once a little under 2 months ago. I was just wondering if they could say no, you have to come in?

Just got hired last week. I have yet to have training or any kind of orientation. I'm a male. I imagine they provide the uniform top, (not sure what color) and just wear khakis and comfortable shoes?? Pretty much what colors can and can't you wear? All company's have certain abbreviations that they use...

I'm tempted to answer how I think that question should be answered, but I would like to keep my job. I don't even work in the Meat Department and I'm tired of hearing that question. People see something online and on the Evening News about what is basically gelatin being used as a filler and they are all u...

Hi, i work at a Dillons store, and today a guy was fired for really no good reason. He had an emergency call from his wife stating that she was being arrested and he needed to come get the kid. He tells the appropriate people, go's and gets his kid and takes him to day care. He came back in and was fired on the sp...

I apologize if this subject is a repost. I was reading a recent Rewards flyer with updated rules on the rewards points and how they can (ie can't) be used. Points are now are only good for two months. Not only that, but they are tallied monthly, and separately, and one month's points can only be used at a ti...

As stated in the title, I haven't had enough time to get my ExpressHR set up. Working with maintenance during the night shift there isn't much free time or anyone there to help me out. Plus at night, there isn't a computer I could access long enough to set it up without having to get someone who's been work...

I know it's common but any pointers? Sometimes I feel like walking out but I need the job. I work with a few kids that do NOTHING unless they literally have to. One orders me to do a bunch of work or just walks of while there are a bunch of customers so I have to deal with it. Then will act like a big shot and lo...

As baggers, we're supposed to sign the sheets in each bathroom when we are cleaning it. Anyway, today I was assigned to run the recycle center and check the bathrooms. I had to stop doing the bathroom check when I was on my last bathroom to be checked (there was someone inside) and the bottle machines wer...

Article explains why AAHCA is really bad for all of us with Health Coverage that is under Taft-Hartly. While the rest of the country will now be getting tax credits to pay for their health insurance premiums, we as Union Members will not. Although this really doesn't change anything for us as we do not s...

i got hurt the other night while unloading a truck because of some faulty equipment. I went to the hospital to get checked out because of my busted head. I then had a day off. why do so many not press card on the screen when promoted to "Select your method of payment" and then yell at the attendant about being charged twice? why do they take all their bags off the bagging area before paying and then stare at the machine when it says "please place you bags back...

I have never seen such a petty micromanaging bunch of idiots as these people. Who cares the way the stock truck was loaded as long as it had product on it. They wonder why morale is so low.

What's the difference between a courtesy clerk and a utility clerk? I heard some contracts give utility clerks raises and not courtesy clerks, but if both classifications do the same work, what would be the point of management hiring utility clerks?

I've been on sanitation for a couple of weeks now and the person who trained me didn't go into great detail about to clean the bathrooms. I was wondering how you hose down the walls tiles, stainless steel the right way and how to not leave water marks on the wall tiles.
