how low are your store's osats? we're not reaching our goal and not really even close now. how often does your store want shoppers to do surveys? is it only the front end who does that? they want us to ask every shopper every day. it's too much.

Can someone please explain to me why the dept heads flip out if you don't take your vacation or personal days? I hardly ever use mine and sure enough I'm having my ass rode about it.

I've recently gotten a job as a night stocker at krogers (I'm told its part time.), and I go through oreientation in a few days. But what I'm confused about is how much I will be making a week. I think something was said about 8.50 an hour, but I would rather take advice from someone experienced. Im from tex...

So the zone mgr. visited our store and decided to join in the huddle. We had already been standing there for over 20 minutes listening to the co-mgr. rant on about OSAT, Key retailing, overtime, low sales, cao problems, etc. Now the Zone mgr. and the meat dept. mgr get into a long discussion about th...

They actually have plans to put in an elevator to the upstairs breakroom and offices when they do our remodel. I've heard the breakroom is suppose to be really nice. I just hope it's not too nice. People tend to tear things up, especially people on the stock crew.

I was hired last year as a grocery clerk and I would like to transfer to a store closer to home. What are several things I should do first? If I can get a grocery position at the new store, can I work exclusively on the weekends, mornings and overnight instead of the afternoons?

Anyone know if this is gonna happen? they said the pay caps for part time were going up last july. when i asked in july/august last year, they said you had to work another 6mo (at 40/wk) to get the raise. took a while to get a straight answer from anyone when i asked before so i figured i'd check and see if an...

So, in the two years I've worked at Kroger I've only called off three times. But for the past two days I've had a 101 degree fever, have been vomiting and dripping mucus, and shivering like crazy from feeling cold (despite my 80 degree room). I waited until two and a half hours before my shift, hoping the m...

They schedule 3 people to close the deli on weekday nights, but then on the weekend they only schedule 2. Uh, hello?
