I understand that to get holiday pay you must work your scheduled day before and after Christmas. Since it snowed quite a bit the day after Christmas I felt it wasn't safe to try to come in so I called off. Something like 20 people called off the front end alone. I was wondering if I would still get holiday p...

Were supposed to within 7 ft. and 7 seconds of seeing a customer, acknowledge them, make eye contact, ask if we can help and generally engage them. Well I told the manager I knew what it w...

I just got hired. I got a letter to join the union and my stated payrate was listed on it. There is an overnight premium for working third shift. Would the rate on the paper be before or after the overnight premium? Thanks

He will be working as a cashier but when his department gets more hours he is going back to them. He has put 4people on call because of this. I have been working their longer but because he is full time he is...

Corporate greed has taken its toll on our workplace. The pay is horrible and so are the benefits. They never schedule any hours and they do all kinds of screwy stuff to make sure they aren't responsible for the screw ups. I believe we, as employees, need to take a stand. Individuals can talk but a group ef...
