How much does a 15 year old bagger make and what are the hours on the weekend?

We just got a new royal decree from the managers that now, in the deli, if anyone walks up after 9 (our closing) we should wait on them if they seem desperate but only want a few items but that we should use our judgement. My judgement says to tell everyone "sorry, we're closed." But if you turn a...

Hello all... This is probably a really dumb question considering (and assuming) all of you actually got hired and are working at Kroger or have worked at Kroger. I got hired at McDonald's early December because I was desperate and they have zero standards and don't need references or work histor...

My store is about to open a fuel center. One issue is that it's half a mile from the store down a neighborhood street where they won't get any business. I'm a cashier who is a bit tired of things. How is working the fuel center? Would you recommend it? Will the terrible location have an adverse impact on...

Today I logged into W2 Express to print out my QFC W2,and the company listed at the top of the form is Fred Meyer. A few weeks ago one of our CSR's was bagging for a cashier and got hurt. What happened was she was lifting a turkey weighing in around 25 pounds to put in the cart and the netting around it broke and fell on her foot breaking some toes. Well she went to the doctor and wouldn't allow them to keep her off work o...

So, a while back, one of our employees got fired for calling off too much. And she did call off a whole lot 'cause I got called just about every other day to cover her shift. I just wanted to ask how much is too much when it comes to calling off? I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to the possibility of getting fire...

I hired on at kroger in February 2012. I had previously worked at kroger for 2 1/2 years. I had talked to my HR this past September about getting experience pay for previously working for the company. It is now mid-January and I have not recieved a raise. I ask my HR every few weeks about its status. All she...

Went to get my schedule this week and I only got 28 hours again! Not too many people with less senority got more hours than me. Most of the employees under me got 25 or less. When I counted the names on our schedule the other day we had 106 people and they are still hiring!

For me it's gotta be a tie between 11-7 and 12-8. For me it's because these shifts feel so more longer than any other shift, especially in the winter.
