I'm going to be a certified qualified assistant produce manager once my 8-week training program is over. I'm just curious on if it takes a really long time, or if it only takes a year or less.

I work in the meat dept in DFW and after 12 weeks I averaged 36 hrs a week so the way the contract reads I should get full time.I was told it would take up to 2 weeks for it to process.I make 9.65hr now and the way the contract reads I should bump up to 12.65hr so I was wanting to know if I'm right and how does it work...

Do you get paid for orientation and training? we were told we were,in total for those 3 days I was in there for 16hrs.So far ive received 2 checks and its for 16hrs.the bad thing is the extra 8hrs i got paid for were not for those days.apparently time goes in sat and since i worked sat i got paid just for 1 day....

I heard from a fellow employee that Walmart sold "Key Retailing" for 1.2 billion dollars. Has anyone else heard about this as well? She said it wasn't going so well for them, so they sold the program to us.

a fellow employee told me that if you want to transfer to another store they have to honor your request. He said, yea at first they will say no but all you have to do is say we will let the union decide. You can choose the store.
