A while back I was demoted from Clerk to Utility Clerk by choice to have more hours. Now i've been trying to get promoted back and I've been given a hard time about it. I read on here about someone being demoted and having to sign something to make it official but I was never asked to sign anything. So was the...

Thanks to Obama's incompetence, my paycheck was eleven dollars less than what it was the week before for the same number of hours.

This really burns me up. It really ticks me off when someone is scheduled to work for example 8:00 - 4:30 and they come in two hours late, but they still leave at 4:30. I don't mind people being late but you need to work the number of hours you're scheduled. We have a new girl in the bakery who was schedul...

Was looking at the deli schedule today for next week and they cut hours big time but they really screwed up for this coming Sunday. The opener comes in at 7 but only works until 12:30 and I don't come in until 1:30 so this leaves a one hour gap between us leaving the chicken person alone for an hour. And the...

I have been told that in order to attend a funeral I have to find my own replacement. If not then I can't have the time off without losing my job.

Apparently corporate feels the workers can perform miracles. Three people to run peyton truck, do perishables, write order, condition, plus replenishment report. I just want to say F**k off to the pencil pushers...you are ruining the company with your greed. Key retailing sucks. Daily reports...

Friday at my store I'm in the deli and instead of calling for help up front to bag or run a register, they called for help to get buggies in off the lot. We were so shorthanded that the only bagger was put on a register and they expected everyone else to pick up the slack. My department couldn't make it beca...

In the decade-plus I've been in my business, this crap of customers has grown from just a few items stacked up behind the customer service desk, to literal MOUNTAINS of warming frozen groceries and cooling deli items. My store alone loses as much as 10 K a WEEK because of this. I think we need to impose th...

I wish I knew the rationale behind the endless hiring of cashiers on the front end. We've just added four more and there's not enough hours for the ones we have now. They move to other depts to get hours. They get pushy about ELMS but cut hours for the fastest cashiers and move them away from the registe...

In the deli yesterday our drains were backed up. This seems to happen every few months. The meat shop, bakery and produce drains were fine, but a toilet was messed up in the break room.
