I had to open one day and as I was getting the carts in I noticed someone pull in and park halfway over the center line. The lady went inside and I figured no big deal since it was early in the morning. Five minutes later another customer pulls in and parks right in front of the other car. So his car is stuck hal...

For years we have been getting these coupons for 30% off Kroger brand products around Christmas. We would get them for other holidays as well. This year Bob Moeder of the Central division apparently wants to mix it up and not let us expect these coupons. The last one we received was prior to Halloween, s...

I have a warning for everyone about the new requirements for the Health Plan for 2013. We were required to submit our own health screening this year. You will automatically be enrolled in Plan 3 if it was not submitted. There is an appeals process that you can go through to get to Plan 1 if you have comp...

I want to go union working at 412 city market. We have no union big mistake, we do everything for the same amount of money and do not recive nothing in return because we are not union workers nor do we have the same rights as employee's. Baggers have to deal with the most stress on sundays than anyone else because we do a lot of things in the store. We are often under-manned yet we still have to do as much stuff as a full crew would do. Don't treat us like crap because we are the people who empty your trash and bring you guys new paper towel fo...

Just so everyone knows, the distribution center in delaware ohio passed a strike vote by 98% friday, there are technicalitys now but that shows the disgruntledness there. They now have Dave Dillion and The U.I.W. From washington D.C. sitting at the table with them because the medical they are tryin...

This might be a tough question to answer, but I have a question about full time, and if the union can do anything about the situation I'm in. I've worked for Kroger 2 years. The first year I was a bagger/cashier, I am now in the grocery department (night stock). I don't know if the contracts vary from st...

I recently have been put back in the deli at my store after a stint as the dairy back-up. This hasn't been a problem since I get along really well with most of the people there. Since I came back one girl who started a couple of months before I went to the dairy, tries to tell me how to do my job likes shes a bos...

It's an absolute shame how this whole mess went down. Governor Snyder has stabbed the working people of the State of Michigan in the back. Anybody planning on joining the rally at the Capitol Building on Tuesday from 8-3? If so I'll see you there! And if you hear people in your stores talking about quitt...

I was told that I had to contact HR to request a transfer from Indiana to Denver, but I can't find the number anywhere. Google has failed me. Who do I contact, and what do I say to them? (I've worked at Kroger for 6 months, gotten one raise.)

We bake a lot of bread. Usually I either bake or bag. For some reason, I seem to be the only one who will put bread out when it needs to go out. Everybody else just throws it on the channel cart and maybe it will get worked when it's all bagged. One woman even gets upset if the deli manager tells her to fill...

Ok, the majority of the cashiers at my store are good people to work with. But there are some that think that they're the sh** and they'll want you bagging the way that THEY want you to bag. I'm a bagger and I never teach you guys on how to be a cashier. Don't give me this "I've been working here 35 years...
