They even gave away a 42" flat screen TV and Dallas Cowboys tickets, I won a Jacket and a football LOL. I guess it...

So, the store I have been working at for a year has gotten a new store manger. The old one went off to our local corporate headquarters, and although he could be an *******, he kept that store running in tight shape. This new guy, however, is running this store into the ground. His policies seem like the bi...

So I just started working for Kroger last week and have finished my training and had one day at work (officially as a cashier working on the register.) When will I get paid? I had training 2 days last week and just now got a chance on the register. I have logged 12 hours so far. Just curious when pay day is, be...

I hate it! Seriously why are customers in such a bad mood?

Can Kroger legally threaten you with write up and termination if you don"t reach their outrageous new policies? Isn"t this a form of harrasment. This key retailing has completely outrageous and impossible to perform.

Today was my fourth day on the job in the dairy section. There's a lot to do but I am getting the hang of it. No cracked eggs...yet! My co-worker briefly went over the milk freshness program and he marked down three 2% milk cartons that were dated October 12. He told me that each milk has a lifespan of 10 days...

Get into work this morning to see how big a order we got for the dairy and notice there isn't a thing in the cooler. Looked to see if some dumbass had stuck it on the meat or produce cooler and nothing. Come to find out, all the perishable orders that should've been in at 9:30 the night before didn't come i...

The thing about the internet is that it connect people across the globe and country to keep people informed of other parts of the country. Yet, the union never seems to actually put forth resources into the internet. I'm not sure if these guys are just old time people who don't know how to work a computer...

I'm working a cashier part time at Kroger and need a 2nd job. Is Target considered competition? I'm afraid to ask a manager.

So my goal is to become our stores service director. How would I make that happen? Do I need to be in a certain department or is there school involved? Thanks for your help?

I watched the KTV today at 1 pm today in regards to the conversion of the "fluff pack" to prepackaged net weight. Kroger has done prepackaged beef for many years, but most consumers can't really tell the difference, because of the way the package is presented. Now, what I find interesting i...
