Ok, ive worked at Kroger now for a month, and have YET to get my first paycheck... while 3 other employees that were hired in at the SAME time as me have now ALL gotten at least one check. Is this normal, or even LEGAL, for them to hold a check over a month?

You know what really upsets me is when I'm in the restroom at work conducing my business is when I get paged. That really pisses me off! I can be working all day without getting a page but it never fails as soon as I go to the restroom I get paged. Now whats up with that? I mean come on this is nuts!

Got to work today and went to the breakroom and went to clock in and there was no time clock. It was removed and now all employees must use the time clock in the front of the store. Our break room is in the back of the store and the front time clock is in the floral shop which is small and cramped and made for a c...

Had a note posted on our time clock today from our manager stating that he is "sick and tired" of a majority of employees not staying over or coming in when called. And that if you fall into this category you will not be as likely to receive your requests for time off. Anyone else around here...

Does your store manager reward you all for good results? Ex: Perfect mystery shop, outstanding inventory, or just for the heck of it to let you know they appreciate you? Cook outs, gift certificates....etc... Do YOU feel appreciated at your workplace?
