I work with a woman that ws hired about a week before me. She seems tobe increasingly jealous of me and has begun to complain that she is on u-scan more than me. (they've trained ME in accounting - not her). Management changed my schedule after it was posted due to her complaining. How much of a notice do they have to give you about the changes? What is policy about changes?
To the best of my understanding, and how it works here in Indy, 1. A schedule is posted required to be posted for the follwing week on Friday @ noon. 2. Managament has until saturday morning/early afternoon to "revise" the schedule," 3. After that it can not be changed unless the employee/employees agree to it
I'm not sure on your particular issue, If your co-worker who has less seniority is given better shifts doing the same task your are, your are entitled to the better shift. if you're doing customer service/accounting and she's ringing up customers then you and she has a better time, you're kinda stuck with it. I hope this helps.
Please stop bouncing old posts to the front. Thank you.
I can not tell you how annoying it is to reply to a thread that was posted over 5+ years ago. Please stop bouncing old posts to the front. Read before you reply people. Thank you.
I've worked with a number of individuals I just couldn't stand nor tolerate to be in the same room in. None the less in the same department as them during the same time frame.
You need to talk to management to do something about this. Some options are:
Work opposite schedule of them. By them picking on the schedule ahead of you. If your department does select-a-sched you have more control say in your shift selections.
Be requested to be moved to another department.
Transfer to another store.
Those are about your only options. I've worked with a number of individuals that also decided for some reason they just didn't like me for no reason since day one. You have the right to not work with someone if you don't feel comfortable around them.
