Best guess is to prove your ability  thru your store director and staff. The store manager will have the final say on who runs his/her departments. After that you need to get the support of the bakery coordinate for your district in your KMA. They will be the ones that makes the recommendations to the district managers and store managers when the positions come open. Only can say this because in my KMA (SW Dallas area)  stores that need meat managers go on the recommendations of the district managers and they rely on the Meat MR`s to let them know of who can do the job and what they can do.
