I hurt my ankle on November 8th and called in. After a few days I went to get my paycheck  on crutches and my manager told me I would need a doctors note to return. My job can not be performed on cruyches.

I gave them the note on December 3rd and they are hassling me about writing personal statements to send to corporate explaining why I was off work and having the Dr fax a statement with the date I first saw him and my return date. I don't have insurance because they dont schedule me enought hours so I didnt go see a dr when I was first hurt just when I needed a release.

 I paid the $55 for dr to get the release  note. How far can they take this. I called in, went to see a manager in person and gave them the note they requested...Any suggestions? I have been with them for 2 years and am a good employee

were out a whole month? Called in Nov 8th returned to work on the DEC 3rd?

Call your union rep. Rules vary kroger to kroger. We would need a doctors if we missed three scheduled work days or more.
