yeah, we have it in GA. basically, it boils down too, you have the right to quit any job, for any reason, and face no consequences. but, it also gives employers the right to fire you, for any reason, and also face no consequences. you can't sue for wrongfull termination in GA, unless it violates cival rights
same here in ohio, makes you wonder the company is up too now. With so many contracts coming up. It's like the union is telling you is going to happen next.
right to work basically circumvents the unions and takes away any rights you had as a worker and takes away any job security you might have had. its a republican agenda started with bush to go along with the patriot act and simply take away more of your rights. the name right to work is also misleading wonder why???
A Right to Work State is one that guarantees your right to work without having to belong to a union for the field. In many Northern states if you aren't a union member you can't get a job. Here in the South you have the right to work in your field without being forced to join a union. For that reason many companies moved to the south to save the money that forced union memberships and contracts were costing them.
oh my god. you dont get it. the unions are good you have contracts, higher wages, better safety standards, ranking, and better job security. people are being lied to about unions. one i commonly laugh at to hear is that they take your money away. its true you have monthly dues.ranging from 10-40 Dollars (depends) but you make that up easily in the higher wages and benefits. unions were created by workers who got tired of being scammed by there employer. people have lost touch with unions.and years of misconceptions being taught are just another thing slowing progress for the working man.
Higher wages? Are you smoking crack? I get payed **** pay for work I should be getting atleast 1 to 2 dollars more. And no ranking either. Job security maybe.
