I graduated high school and I am only 17. I am in the customer service desk and I was wondering since I have a high school diploma do Ohio labor laws still apply to me.
Labor laws aren't one simple set of rules. They're a mixture of state and federal laws applying to minors AND adults. Most likely your diploma makes no difference, since you're still a minor til you turn 18 regardless, but there must be something else going on with your state laws for you to be a minor working behind the desk. That's not allowed that I know of, but I'm not from Ohio...

I agree especially with questioning a minor behind the customer service desk. Does the service desk not have cigarrettes behind you? In KY because of the easy access to the cigarrettes you have to be 18 to work customer service which would include selling those cigerattes too of course.
