Hello I have been working at Kroger for a while and I really did not know how people were being treated until I step down from a position that I really loved because the Manager was a jerk!!! I have know this manager for a while but he just went crazy one day and I said that was it. Now that I am not in that position I see a lot of things going on that I did not pay attention to at first and it is horrible You have Hispanic employees calling Black employees The N Word and nothing is being done about it you have Meat manager hitting other employees in the head with water bottles and nothing is being done about it as well. This store is really horrible and people are posting things on face book about this store and the employees the Manager team is horrible the Customer Service Manager does not care and the whole booth personal is just nasty to the customers and to the employees and if you want to know this store is K-312

There's lots of things I'm willing to say you should let slide off your back about, but, this is simply not one of them. Someone needs to sue the company and the meat manager. This is simply unacceptable. Physical assault results in immediate termination. Discrimination based on race can be iffy at times but the penalties for it are also suppose to be severe.
"Supposed to be severe" does not translate into "are severe." This problem is big among veteran employees that are protected by Union cronies who are also racist and idiotic. Best thing anyone can do is get as far away from Kroger Co/Union (essentially the same entity, don't let them fool you). It worked for me, and I'm much better off for it.
If they throw a water bottle and hit you in the head that is assault. I'd call the police and report it. They would have to take action within the company.

^This.
I totally forgot to mention I knew someone who worked at Kroger who was physically assaulted by a fellow employee. As soon as he threatened to call the police to his manager, the manager almost immediately fired the offender.
