Work hours for minors

Does anyone know the limit on what minors for 14/15 year olds can work? I know they can't work more than 17 hours a day but after that I don't know what hours they can work during school and on the weekends. Can someone please tell me?

And that's for 14 and 15 year olds? Do you know of any handbook I can find online to do more research?

it's state law, not company policy. that's the limit in michigan, it might be different if youre in a different state

Also, there are some regulations that are federal law, so you need to find out where you stand locally. In my area, we just don't hire til 16 to avoid all the red tape and limitations.
