Manufacturer's coupons

We are allowed to use them, right?

I bought the Hunger Games:Catching Fire at Kroger today that had a coupon to get 3 free items with it.

Only after I used them did I wonder if we were allowed to. I mean, I got $40 worth of items for like $16. But they were manufacturer's coupons... They can't get upset about me using them can they?

Yes you can use them. You're allowed to do just about anything other customers can do when you are a customer yourself.

Often times, if it's for a "free" item, it'll ask you to enter a price after scanning the coupon. Make sure you look at the maximum limit for the amount, and look for the product's original price.

You really only have to worry about finding the product's sale price. The majority of newer coupons have the 2D barcodes that include the max price for a free item. Even if you input a higher price, it will fix it to the maximum instead.
